I have an interest in Hearthstone but it *feels* so far like it's basically WoWTCG-lite, so while it pools strongly from Blizzard's existing IP it doesn't give me that sense of real deep gameplay that I could get out of WoWTCG or MtG. (edit, removed all posts about scrolls game) On the other hand, adding the hex board could add some interesting strategy that wouldn't be there otherwise. I'd rather see more effort placed on making the cards look as good as possible. This is causing them to have to put lots of their limited effort in working on the 3d models used on the board, as well as the effects there. Scrolls like interesting too, but I'm not sure I like the path their taking with setting up a hex board that you play on. I'd think that having the Blizzard name will inherently make the cards more valuable. And a big part of a CCD is some perceived value to the cards. It's just a much more polished looking game. I have to say though, I'm much more excited about Hearthstone. It seems like there are two that seem promising (maybe more, I don't know): Scrolls (by Mojang) and Hearthstone (by Blizzard).
